SPQR - Information Technology Security Specialist

Consulting for: •Identify and assist in design, implementation, and operational gaps that could be used to exploit IT resources using penetration testing and evaluation tools, manual testing methods, procedural and documentation reviews. •Assist in administration and management of Antivirus, Firewalls, Network Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Content Filtering, and Web Application Firewalls. •Use current information security technology disciplines and industry standards to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. •Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing IT security policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed. •Administration of Anti-Virus, centralized logging, vulnerability scanning and reverse or forward proxy infrastructure. •Work within a security team construct to implement necessary tools and solutions for identified gaps in security posture, procedures, and best practices.
